About
A student-run label for live music at Queen’s.
The idea
Queen’s Artists is a student-run arts organization at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Think of us as a small independent label for the Queen’s music scene: we find the bands, book the shows, and do the unglamorous work that gets good music in front of a crowd.
Live music comes first. We work with Queen’s musicians from their first gig onward, and we bring artists from outside Kingston to share bills with them, so local acts play bigger rooms and touring acts find an audience here.
What we do

Booking & events
We book and run shows on campus and around Kingston: the venue, the bill, the door, the sound, and getting people there.

Artist management
We work alongside Queen’s musicians on the business side (gigs, promo, releases, building a following) so they can focus on the music.

Connections
We link Queen’s artists with venues, promoters and touring acts, and bring out-of-town musicians to Kingston to share the stage.
